The Zakka Kit - Autumn Forest

I’m loving the autumn themes of these boxes. This is the second box with this theme.

This is a post-it set from Greenflash, the design is all about mushrooms. I love using these as page markers to mark pages I come back to over and over again.

These stickers are really cute! I love all the colors involved especially the gold and orange red.

This mini envelope is giving me ideas for a mixed media project. Or it could possibly be used for notecards on presents.

This is a B6 notebook, it is just the right size to right your thoughts but small enough to fit in your bag or folder.

I love using these for short notes to the people I’m close to and love. And they look so pretty and clean!

The color on this washi tape is so rich! I love the design of the squirrel on it.

Do I really need to talk about Signo pens? They write smoothly on almost any paper and this one is gold...

As usual, the Zakka Kit does not disappoint!

Spotlight Stationery - July 2018

July’s box from Spotlight Stationery is themed “Eden”. The box contains a stationery collection compiled around the new journals from Castilli. As usual, the purchase price of each box includes a donation to From Me To You, a charity that encourages people to write letters to cancer patient.

The first thing that caught my eye was the journal but I wanted to see the post cards first.

Now to the gorgeous journal, apparently it was the Eden line and at the time to box was sent out it wasn’t even on their website yet. It comes with a pencil as well. Just look at how beautiful it is!!!

I love me some pens and this box has some good ones. The first is the Zebra Telescopic Stylus and it’s two refills, and the second is the Paper Mate Inkjoy which I love to write with because it is so smooth. Finally, the pencil, which is a Greengraph HB pencil from Stabilo.

Finally, the postcard included is as distinctive as the cover of the Eden journal and just as beautiful.

I’m always amazed by how Spotlight Stationery always manages to have amazing stuff in their boxes at a certain high quality level. They never disappoint.

Spotlight Stationery

I guess I've skipped doing unboxing for a bit, but that is because I'm currently working on a project that is close to my heart. I will tell you about it later...now it is time for my awesome subscription box from Spotlight Stationery. The theme for this box is Cartoleria: Beautiful stationery from Italy. As always the purchase price of this box includes a donation to a charity and this time it is to From Me To You, a charity that encourages people to write letters to Cancer patients.

As soon as I opened the pretty heavy box I realized why it was so heavy...but I am getting ahead of myself. The first thing I always look for in the box is the envelop that has my name on it. I always know I'm going to find some awesome artwork/postcards. The information about the artists is in the card below, please check them out.

The Legami pocket notebook is really cute. It has 80 pages of 100gsm lined paper. I've yet to try but I think it might be suitable for fountain pen use.

The box also included some interesting pens from Castelli and on multiple-colored pencil from Legami, which I can't wait to try out.

Finally, the reason why the box felt so heavy. A beautiful journal with ruled, plain and squared paper. Some of the papers are detachable, plus there is a ruler bookmark included. Also it just might be fountain pen friendly but it needs to be tested.

As usual Spotlight Stationery have gone above and beyond with what they have included in their box, plus the quality is amazing as usual. VERY please with my box...again as usual 😜

Cloth and Paper -April 2018

April’s Cloth & Paper subscription box was a lot of fun for me. It included a lot of stuff that I’ve been thinking about lately like getting a smaller planner and trying it out for a while. So let me get into the box.

I’ve been meaning to buy a small ruler that would fit into my hand bags and this rose gold ruler is just what I needed. It is sturdy but still small enough to be carried around in a bag without fear of it breaking.

These three pockets are interesting. On the left hand I could probably insert some cards though I’m not sure my cards are small enough to fit in there but on the right hand there are pockets which I could store things into like some notes or money or even the cards that might not fit.

The box provided a pen loop and a pen holder I prefer the pen holder but the loop looks good clipped on to any notebook too.

This is my favorite bit in the box. The planner. It is a bit smaller than pocket sized notebooks but still very chic and functional. I’m used to this sort of planners having elastic bands however and at first I struggled with it to insert the pockets provided...then I looked at the blog post on the Cloth & Paper website and I found out that the rods come out! It was so much easier to insert them then.

They also provided the small -sized notebooks that fit into the planner. I added those in and this is the end result!

Isn’t it pretty? I can’t wait to use it!

The Zakka Kit - March 2018

I love the Zakka Kit because I know that there is always going to be something special and delicate in the box. This box is no different.

The theme for this box is the Cherry Blossem. The theme itself gives off vibes of shades of delicate and as we shall see there are some delicate things in the box.

The Washi Tape comes in three different spring designs with Cherry Blossoms. The tape is by Shinzo Katoh and Seal Do.

Light Pink Midliner Highlighter by Zebra. Now that is a pen that I wanted to try out and finally had the chance to do so now.

I love when the Zakka Kit includes stamps because they are usually unique and cute. This box is no different. The Zakka Kit is a Sakura stamp by Kodomo No Kao.

The Neko Box Sakura Art print is just goergious! The print is of a Cherry Blossom scene.

I always look forward to the papers included in the Zakka Kit. The designs included on the paper (2 pink Sakura papers) are very delicate and simple, which makes the paper beautiful.

No Zakka Kit is complete without stickers and the Sakura Stickers by Pinup Japan are beautiful pink and metallic gold.

Finally, a Blue Sakura and Bird letter set. It is decorated by Cherry Blossoms and birds. The set is by Frontia.

So much goodness in the box, so much goodness!
